Use this window to view, create and maintain included operations by repair code for repair routings. Repair code routings represent the subset of the machine and labor operations defined in the monolithic repair routing which are relevant to this repair. Just like the monolithic routings of which they are a subset, repair code routings are always defined for 'real' parts.
Repair interim orders and their corresponding supply shop orders are created when disposition shop orders for parts requiring modifications or discrepancies are approved. For each modification or discrepancy being addressed, the repair routings are used to ascertain the required operations for the relevant repair codes.
Note that repair routings cannot be activated unless the monolithic repair routing alternate they are derived from is in Buildable state.
Detailed operation information, such as machines and labor defined for the part, is specified in the Routing window.
If a Repair Shop Order is selected as repair order type for a CRO line then if the repair routing is used to pull in the required operations for the repair code(s) associated with the service type(s) defined in the Component Repair Order/Service Type tab. The list of service types in this tab constitute the work scope to be performed for the part on the CRO line and a service type can be connected to one or several repair codes in the Part Service Definition and Pricing window.
