Copy Fault Modes

Explanation

This activity is used to copy fault modes from one product model to another. This function is useful when you register new product models that are similar to existing models.

Prerequisites

Fault modes must have been defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, fault modes are registered on the selected product model.

Copy Fault Modes 

Procedure

1. Open the Operations and Fault Basic Data window and click the Fault Mode tab.
2. Query (F3) for the product model from which fault modes are to be copied.
3. Select the row, right-click and then click Copy Fault Modes. The Copy Fault Modes dialog box opens.
4. Values in the From Product No and From Model No fields appear by default and cannot be changed.
5. In the To Product No field, enter the product number of the product model to which fault modes are to be copied. Click List to select a value.
6. In the To Model No field, enter the model number of the product model to which fault modes are to be copied. Click List to select a value.
7. Click OK.
