Copy an Operational Plan

Explanation

This activity is used to create a new operational plan by copying data from an existing operational plan. The operation plan for a baseline including the items, will then be copied to the new plan.

Prerequisites

An operational plan must exist.

A new operation plan is created based on an existing plan.

Procedure

1. Open the Operational Planning window and query (F3) for the existing plan from which data is to be copied.
2. Right-click on the header of the window and then click Copy to New Plan. The Copy to New Plan dialog box opens.
3. In the Oper Plan ID field, enter an ID for the new operational plan.
4. In the Description No field, enter the description number of the new operational plan. Click List to select a value.
5. Enter the start date of the new operational plan in the Start Date field.
6. Enter the finish date of the new operational plan in the End Date field.
7. Click OK.
