Remove Approval of Fault Deferral

Explanation

This activity is used to remove the approval of a fault deferral.

Prerequisites

• A fault deferral that has been approved must exist.
• You need to have access to the product and model of the part revision on which the fault (with enabled fault deferral information) is reported.

System Effects

• Approval of the fault deferral will be removed.
• Deferral information (e.g., approved date, approved by and due dates) will be removed from the corresponding fault.

Procedure

1. Open the Open Deferred Faults window and query (F3) for the required fault number. Both the Approved and User Authorized? check boxes should be selected for this deferral.
2. Select the row, right-click and then click Remove Approval.
3. Click Yes on the question that is raised. Verify that the Approved check box is cleared for the record.
