Remove/Cancel Operational Plan

Explanation

This activity is used to remove an existing plan or cancel a new plan. Note: A plan cannot be removed or canceled if a pending or running fault task is associated with an operational event in the plan. A successful removal or cancellation will delete the plan and the plan items.

Prerequisites

• An operational plan must exist.
• Pending or running fault task cannot be associated with the operational plan.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the operational plan is removed or canceled.

Procedure

1. Open the Operational Planning window and query (F3) for your operational plan.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Verify that the Plan Complete check box is selected before continuing the activity.
4. Right-click on the tab and then click Remove/Cancel Plan.
5. Click Yes if you want to remove the operational plan and all plan items.
