Define Production Rates
Explanation
Use this activity to define production rates for a
production unit. Production Rates are defined per product quality. These are the
qualities of the product(s) to be produced by your production unit. When
defining production units you can define maximum production rates as well as
goal production rates.
Prerequisites
- Qualities must have been defined in the
Define Products and Qualities window (Setup OEE).
- A production unit must have been defined in the
Define Production Units window (Setup OEE).
System Effects
- New production rate goals are defined for a
product quality of the production unit.
- The maximum production rate or goal production
rate can be used when performing an APQ analysis.
- The given maximum production rate will be used as
the valid maximum value when a production change is registered. Note:
The maximum production rate used will be the value entered most recently.
- The given goal production rate can be used as a
reference value in the production speed graph. Note: The goal
production rate used will be the value entered most recently.
