When a parameter has been measured and the result of the measurement registered, the equipment object information on the current object gets updated with the measured value and date. Any preventive maintenance actions that this object is linked to are also updated with the measured value and the value that generated a work order, if applicable. When two or more cumulative measurements are registered it generates a condition based forecast PM plan by calculating the average use per day under the assumption of linear use of the equipment object. When a measurement of a parameter falls outside the specified limit values, or the accumulative value exceeds the limit for generation, a work order is generated.
