Enter Min/Max Value

Explanation

Use this activity to enter minimum and/or maximum values for limit type parameters. When a measurement of a parameter falls outside the specified limit values, a PM action is generated.

Prerequisites

Before minimum and/or maximum values are entered, the following must have been completed:

• Current PM action retrieved in the window.
• Test point and parameter of limit type entered in the window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, all PM generation criteria for a limit type parameter will be defined for the PM action.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. Select the Criteria tab. 
2. In the Min Value field, enter the minimum value of the parameter.
3. In the Max Value field, enter the maximum value of the parameter.
4. Save the information.
