Schedule and Plan Jobs and Operations per Preventive Maintenance Plan Line
Explanation
Use this activity to schedule and plan jobs and
operations (with jobs connected to them) that are registered
Separate
PM Action/Jobs and Separate PM Action/Operations tabs, for
a single occurrence in the preventive maintenance plan (PM plan).
Note: New
jobs and operations can only be added on the relevant tabs, as specified above
and not on any occurrences in the PM plan.
Prerequisites
- The PM_PLAN_OPERATION system parameter must have been set
to TRUE in System Definitions/Object Property tab.
- Information on employees must be entered on the
Organization Basic Data/Employees tab.
- The
Separate PM Action/Jobs tab must
contain valid jobs.
- Operation lines must have been connected to a job.
- Work orders related to the PM action should not have
been generated.
System Effects
- Jobs and operations are
scheduled for a single PM plan line.
- The Adjusted field will
contain the value Yes to indicate that the PM plan line has
been updated.
- The Signature and Remark
fields of the row will also contain values.
- The Adjustments check box on
the
General tab will be selected, indicating that an
adjustment has been made on the PM Plan.

Jobs and Operations
Procedure
- Open the Separate PM Action window, and
query for the required PM action.
- Click the
Maintenance Plan tab.
- Select the PM plan line for which you
want to schedule the jobs and operations.
- Right-click and then click Jobs and Operations. The
Jobs and Operations dialog box opens.
- Change the values in the Executed By and Date
From fields for the jobs listed in the header. Click List to
select a suitable value.
- Change the values in the Executed By and Date
From fields for each operation line found in the table. Click List to
select a suitable value. Note: You cannot enter a value in the Executed
By field if the number of planned men is greater than one.
- Click OK.
