Use this window to create a proposal for German Central Bank Z5, Z5A-1 or Z5A-2 reporting requirement. It is possible to create a Combined report also by covering Z5, Z5A-1 & Z5A-2 from a single proposal. If the proposal is acknowledged, you can create an XML file to be uploaded to the ExtraNet of the German Central Bank. Where applicable a text file can be created in addition to the XML file.
These reports are required by German Foreign Trade regulations (AWV). The Z5 is used to report the claims and liabilities from financial relationship with foreign banks. The Z5A-1 is used to report the assets and liabilities from financial relationships with foreign non-banks and the Z5A-2 is used to report the assets and liabilities to foreign non-banks from the goods and services. The reporting is done by foreign country, identity type of the foreign party (external, internal-parent company, internal-sister company, internal-subsidiary) and by AR/AP type (whether short-term, long-term or payment in advance).
Before the proposal can be created basic information must be set up in the Central Bank Reporting Setup window and Central Bank Reporting Basic Data window.
To create a new proposal, right-click and then click Create Proposal.
