Change Revision and/or Alternative

Explanation

This activity is used to change a revision and/or alternative for a DOP order.

Prerequisites

• Another revision and/or alternative having a Plannable or Buildable status must exist. When the DOP order is released, the status of its supply shop orders must be Planned, Released or Reserved.
• Pegged purchase orders must not exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The revision and/or alternative is changed for the DOP order.
• The revised start date is recalculated depending on revised due date, lead-time and lead-time offset, where the lead-time is depending on lot size and routing revision and alternative. When the DOP order is released, the operations of its supply shop orders are adjusted.

Procedure

1. Select the DOP order for which the revision and/or alternative needs to be changed, either from the DOP Order window, DOP Order/Tree Structure tab, DOP Header/Structure tab or the DOP Header/Tree Structure tab.
2. Right-click and click Change DOP Structure > Change Revision and/or Alternative.
3. In the dialog box that opens, select an available revision number from the List of Values.
4. Click OK.
