Create Code Part Value

Explanation

Use this activity to manually create code part values for this DOP header for the code parts for which DOP pre-posting is defined.

Different actions will occur depending on how the Financial Integration attribute in the Settings area is specified:
No Integration: No code part value is created.
Create Values: A code part value is created for the specific DOP header.
Auto Pre-Posting: A code part value is created for the specific DOP header and the code parts defined for the DOP are automatically set to this value.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The DOP pre-posting (M112) Should be defined for specific code parts.
• The function for the specified code part should be set to No Function in Define Code String.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• Due to the Financial Integration attribute specified, code part values will manually be created for the defined code parts.
• The code part values are of the type DOPXX, where XX is the DOP ID. The Code Part Value Created check box will be selected for the specific DOP header.

Procedure

1. Open the DOP Header window.
2. Select the DOP ID for which you want to create code part values manually.
3. Click the DOP Header/Detail tab, right-click and then click Create Code Part Value.
