Define MRP Message Filter and Default Filter per Person

Explanation

Use this activity to enter a filter for the MRP Action Proposals Workbench window. The filter makes it possible to select default attributes which will be used when the filter is selected in the window. If a default filter is entered for a person, that filter will be automatically selected when opening the window.

Procedure

Define MRP Message Filter

1. Open the MRP Message Filter window.
2. To enter a MRP message filter, click the Filter tab and create a new record.
3. Enter a value in the Filter ID field and a description in the Filter Description field and save.
4. You can select which operators should be displayed by entering values in the fields or using the list of values.
5. For some of the operators you can enter minimum and/or maximum values and only the operators with values in the selected area will be selected for the filter.
6. If you select the Negative On Hand Date check box, only parts that have a negative projected on hand quantity will be selected.
7. Save the record.

Define Default Filter per Person

1. Open the MRP Message Filter window.
2. On the Default Filter per Person tab, create a new record.
3. Enter a value in the Person ID and Filter fields.
4. Save your changes.
