Define Repetitive Backflush Behavior

Explanation

Use this function to specify the behavior of the repetitive backflush. You are required to do this when defining a product structure for production schedules. You build up the product structure in the same way as for regular manufacturing. Depending on how backflush is defined, Phantom Consume or Not phantom Consume, the system will either backflush the entire product structure through all levels or only a single structure level at a time.

Prerequisites

The part and its product structure must have been created. The value Phantom Consume is only valid if the component has its own product structure.

System Effects

The system defines the behavior of the repetitive backflush for a product structure. If the components are defined with Phantom Consume, they will be behave just as planning method P parts - if parts are available, they are backflushed. If not, the backflush process explodes to the next level in the structure. If the components are defined with Not Phantom Consume, the backflush will be for a single level only.
