Finite Schedule Order

Explanation

This activity is used to reschedule all supply orders for a DOP structure using the IFS/Constraint Based Scheduling system. Due date and quantity modifications to individual shop order supply orders normally causes a rescheduling, but it may be desirable to reschedule all supply orders for a DOP structure. When the supply orders for a DOP structure have been modified the function Update Dates from Supply can be used to update the DOP orders as well.

Prerequisites

Constraint Based Scheduling must be installed on the server. The DOP structure must be created on a CBS site.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The supply orders for a DOP structure are normally scheduled when the DOP Orders are released.
• When the supply orders are rescheduled the dates may be changed to match current due dates, resource availability, and shop order priorities.

Procedure

1. Open the DOP Header window.
2. Select the required DOP ID.
3. Right-click any where in the header and then click Finite Schedule Order.
4. The Schedule DOP Header dialog box will be displayed.
5. Click OK.
