Generate Branch Alarm

Explanation

Use this activity to generate an alarm for a selected branch of a DOP structure.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites. No alarms will be created for DOP orders having Unreleased, Netted, or Created status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system generates an alarm for the selected branch.

Procedure

From the DOP Header window.

1. Open the DOP Header window.
2. Select the DOP order header for the branch for which to generate an alarm.
3. Click the Tree Structure tab.
4. Select the DOP order for which to generate a branch alarm, right-click and then click DOP Order Detail.
5. The DOP Order window will appear.
6. Right-click and then click Branch Alarm Generation.

From the DOP Order window.

1. Open the DOP Order window.
2. Select the DOP order (DOP ID and DOP Order ID) for the branch for which to generate an alarm.
3. Right-click and then click Branch Alarm Generation.
