Select Allocate

Explanation

Use this activity to define that the DOP order should be allocated. The Allocate parameter controls whether the DOP order, if it has excess parts, can be allocated to other structures to meet their DOP demand. The default value is Allocate.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that part information must have been registered. Demand information must also have been registered.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system sets Allocate as the default value alternative for the DOP orders when the DOP structure is created.

Procedure

1. Open the DOP Header window.
2. Select the DOP order to change.
3. Click Allocate from the Allocate list, in the Settings area.
4. Click Save.
