Use this activity to control whether the DOP structure should be created only for the DOP parts or for all parts in the structure, regardless of the supply code. The two possible values are DOP Parts and Full Level. The latter should be seen as an exception, but it can be used in the event that pegging and actual costing is required for all the parts on all levels in a part's structure. Structure depth also determines whether DOP orders for non-DOP parts added manually should have pegged orders (if Full Level) or not (if DOP Parts). The default value is DOP Parts.
This activity requires that a DOP header has been created.
As a result of this activity, DOP orders with Create Pegged (Pegged orders) are created for DOP parts only when the DOP structure is created (inventory part having the supply type set to DOP).
