Add Milestone/Stage Payment Template

Explanation

Use this activity to copy the lines from a milestone/stage payment template to a purchase order line. Once the template is added, it can be viewed and edited via a right mouse button menu option.

Prerequisites

• A milestone/stage payment template must exist in the Procurement Basic Data/ Milestone/Stage Payment Templates tab.
• A released purchase order line must exist.

System Effects

• The milestone/stage payment lines will be copied from the template to the purchase order line.
• The Milestone/Stage Payment Exists check box will be selected on the purchase order line.

Add Milestone/Stage Payment Template

Procedure

1. Open the Purchase Order window.
2. On the Part Order Lines or No Part Order Lines tab, select the line(s) you wish to connect a milestone/stage payment template to.
3. Right-click, point to Order Line Details and then click Add Milestone/Stage Payment Template.
4. On the dialog box that appears, select the template ID required and click Select.
5. On the confirmation message that appears click Yes.

Note: It is only templates with the same purchase payment type as your purchase order line that is displayed. You cannot add a milestone/stage payment template to a purchase order line that already has milestone/stage payment lines entered manually.
