Reschedule Purchase Requisition Line Using Drag-and-Drop

Explanation

This activity is used to reschedule a purchase requisition line using drag-and-drop functionality from a visualization chart.

Prerequisites

• The purchase requisition line supply should not be pegged to a demand.
• The purchase requisition line should not be project connected.

System Effects

• The purchase requisition line will receive a new Wanted Receipt Date according to the value provided in the dialog box. If the date provided is a non-working day the Wanted Receipt Date will be set to the first work day before the date given.

Procedure

1. Open a visualizer enabled window and query for the site needed.
2. If the Data View is displayed, click Visualization View on the title bar.
3. Right-click and select Select Visualization. The Select Visualization dialog box will be opened.
4. Double-click Inventory Part Availability Planning.
5. Select the segment representing the purchase requisition line supply you want to reschedule to a new date.
6. Click and hold the left mouse button while moving the cursor. Release at the date to which you want the requisition line to be rescheduled. The Reschedule Purchase Requisition Line dialog box will be opened.
7. The date where released is defaulted as the new Wanted Receipt Date, but can be optionally edited.
8. Click OK.
