Cancel Budget/Forecast Version

Explanation

This activity is used to set a budget/forecast version to status Cancelled or Obsolete. It is possible to cancel a budget/forecast version from all statuses except if it is set as the active budget.

Prerequisites

Budget/forecast version should not be an active budget.

System Effects

It becomes impossible to make any modifications or change the status on a cancelled budget/forecast version.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to cancel a budget/forecast version:

1. Open the Project window and right click and select the Project Forecasts menu option, which will open the the Project Forecasts window with the related forecasts for the project. You can also open up the Project Forecasts or Project Forecast Info window to perform this activity.
2. Query for the budget/forecast version for which you want to cancel.
3. Right click, click Status and then click Cancel.
