Disconnect Manually Connected Objects

Explanation

Use this function to disconnect objects which have been manually connected to a project activity.

Prerequisites

• The activity should have manually connected objects.
• No economic transactions have been created by the connected object.
• The activity should be in the Planned or Released status.

System Effects

• The object is disconnected from the activity.
• Project pre-postings are removed from the object.
• The object is removed from from the Project Navigator/Connections tab.

Procedure

1. Select the activity to disconnect the object from, then select the Connections tab.
2. Select the Connect/Disconnect Object menu option.
3. In the Connect/Disconnect dialog box, go to the relevant tab and clear the checkbox of the object to be disconnected.
4. Click OK to save your changes.

It is also possible to disconnect the object from the object window.

1. Open the relevant object window and query for the required object.
2. Right-click and point to Project Connection and select the Disconnect from Activity menu option. The object will be removed.
