Modify Requested Date

Explanation

The required date is set to the early finish date for the activity. If this date is changed, select the menu option Modify Requested Date to reflect the date change in its connected supply.

In Project Delivery, the required date is set to the early finish date of the activity which has been connected to the project specific item. If this date has been changed or the project item has been connected to another activity, then a new Gross Requirements Calculation (GRC) must be run in order to reflect the new required date for the project specific item in the MPL. If a supply request has already been created for it, the Modify Requested Date menu option can be selected to change the required date of the existing supply.

  • The Purchase Requisition line must be in either the Planned or Released status. If execution of the change management functionality in IFS/Purchasing require that a Purchase Order Change Order should be used to handle changes in a Released Purchase Order, a Purchase Order Change Order must exist in Planned status.
  • Changes must have been done in the early finish date on the connected activity, or the part has been connected to another activity.
