Define Project Supply Option

Explanation

Perform this activity to define a supply option for a project-specific project item in the project product structure.

There are four supply options available for a project item: Purchase, Shop Order, Dynamic Order Processing (DOP) and Project MRP. A default value is given depending on the part type and supply type selected for the part in inventory.

Prerequisites

• The project item must not be a Standard Planned Item.

System Effects

• The supply option is stored for the project item and a validation takes place to find out if the supply option is valid or not.

1. Select the project-specific item.
2. Select the appropriate supply option.
3. Save.
