Generate Activity Links

Explanation

This activity is used to generate new multi-company project reporting activity links based on the data defined in the Default Supplier Activities tab. This option is useful when the customer project has been copied from a template or another project but without any activity links. Also when several customer company project activities should be connected to one employee company activity this option can be used.

Prerequisites

Employee company activities should be defined and report codes should be connected for them.

System Effects

New multi-company project reporting activity links are generated for the for the current sub project, based on the data on the selected line

Example: Following data is defined on the Default Supplier Activities tab of sub project SP1 of project P100 in customer company P10. The report code T01 is added to the activity A01 which is under the sub project SP1.

When Generate Activity Links is run by selecting the above line, following multi-company project reporting activity link is generated. The generated links are shown in the Supplier Activity Links tab.

Procedure

Open Project Navigator and go to the Multi-Company Reporting tab while in project level or sub project level.
Select the rows or the row you want the generating procedure to run.
