Use this tab to enter a purchase group for purchase parts. Purchase groups function as a statistical concept for which you can obtain statistical reports in search windows and printouts. They can also be used when entering no-number part lines. In that case, the purchase group determines the posting rules. They can also be used as control types in posting control.
You can also include the site-specific customs statistic number for a non-inventory part in the purchase group by using this tab. It is, however, not possible to attach several site-specific customs statistic numbers to a given purchase group.
