Create Analysis for Inventory Part

Explanation

Use this activity to create an analysis for a Control Plan Inventory.

Prerequisites

A Control Plan header and one or more Control Plan lines must exist. The Control Plan must be in the Active state.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you create an analysis for the selected Control Plan Inventory.

Procedure

1. In the Control Plan - Inventory window, query for or create the Control Plan for which you want to create an analysis.
2. Right-click and select Create Analysis.
3. System will display the analysis number it created and prompts to indicate whether to enter the results now or not.
4. Select Yes to enter results. For more information on entering results, see Enter Analysis Results for Inventory Part.

By using the Lot Batch Master Window

1. Query for the relevant Part Number or Lot/Batch Number accordingly.
2. Right-click and select Create Inventory Analysis. Create Analysis - Inventory dialog box will open.
3. Select the site in which the selected part exists.
4. Click Ok.
5. System will display the analysis number it created and prompts to indicate whether to enter the results now or later. Select Yes to enter the results. For more information, see Enter Analysis Results for Inventory Part
