Define Requisition Selection Process

Explanation

This activity is used to define a selection process for a Personnel Requisition. To do so, you will have to define selection steps (e.g., Interview, Test, Application Review). Every step is a separate record.
Definition of a selection plan should take place just before the selection process, when you know the number of candidates, selection criteria, etc.

Procedure

  1. Open the Personnel Requisition window.
  2. Search or Populate to find a relevant personnel requisition.
  3. On the Recommended Selection Process Plan, add a new record.
  4. In the Selection Process field, use the list of values to select a step of selection process, e.g., Interview, Test, Application Review.
  5. In the Planned Due Date field, enter the date on which the selection step is scheduled to take place.
  6. Select the Performed Internally check box, if the selection step is performed internally.
    If the check box is selected, you will have to specify an employee who will perform the recruitment process part.
    If the check box is cleared, you will not be able to enter an employee who will perform the recruitment process part.
  7. In the To be Performed By field, enter the ID of a person responsible for performing the selection step. You can use a list of values.
    Note: You will only be able to enter an ID if the Performed Internally check box is selected.
  8. After the selection step happened, you can enter the actual date when it took place in the Actual Date field.
  9. If you have any remarks about the selection step, enter them in the Remark field.
  10. Save the information.
