Define Risk Assessment Levels

Explanation

This activity is used to establish levels and define details on a particular level based on which a risk can be assessed. These levels are used to give an indication of the severity of the risk.

Assessment Levels encompass a risk assessment level ID, a risk min which is a threshold for calculating the relevant descriptive level and a risk assessment level which is a description given to the severity.

Risk Basic Data/Risk Assessment Levels

Procedure

Use the following procedure to create a risk assessment level:

  1. Open the Risk Basic Data window, and select the Risk Assessment Levels tab.
  2. Click New (F5) to create a new record.
  3. In the Risk Assessment Level ID field, enter a number that you want to assign as the ID for the particular record.
  4. In the Risk Min field, enter a value that the risk assessment level record should take.
  5. In the Risk Assessment Level field, enter a description for the level you want to add. (e.g. Trivial, Minor, Moderate, Important, Serious, Critical)
  6. Click Save.
