Add Assortment Nodes to Campaign

Explanation

This activity is used to enter the campaign information for the assortment nodes, of the assortment specified in the campaign header. 

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites;

• A campaign header should have been created.
• An assortment ID must be connected to the campaign header
• Required assortment nodes should have been created.

System Effects

The added assortment nodes can be handled according to the terms specified in the campaign.

Procedure

1. Open the Campaign window, query for the required campaign and click the Assortment tab.
2. Click New to add a new assortment node to the campaign.
3. Enter manually or select from the List of Values, the assortment node to be added in to the campaign and the description will be displayed.
4. Enter an appropriate value for the Price UoM.
5. Optionally you can enter a value for Purchase Price. 
6. Optionally you can enter a value for Sales Price.
7. If applicable, the contribution margin rate will be displayed automatically.
8. Optionally you can specify a purchase discount rate.
9. If you need to specify a sales discount rate, select a discount type and the appropriate rate will be fetched as the sales discount rate.
10. Repeat steps 2-8 until all assortment nodes have been added and save when completed.

Note: If the Use Price Incl Tax check box is selected in the campaign header, the values on the Purchase Price and Sales Price fields on the Assortment tab, represent the purchase price including tax and the sales price including tax respectively.
