Change Delivery Information per Sales Quotation Line

Explanation

This activity is used to enter delivery information for a specific sales quotation line. This means that you can have different delivery conditions for the sales quotation line and the sales quotation header. If no specific delivery information is entered for the sales quotation line, the delivery conditions used for the sales quotation header is used and the Default Info check box will be selected.

Delivery information that can be connected to a specific sales quotation line includes, for example, delivery terms, external transport lead time, and forwarder.

Prerequisites

A sales quotation line must have been entered and saved.

• The indicated delivery information will be valid for the sales quotation line.

Procedure

Delivery Information fields can be updated directly in Quotation Lines tab or through Quotation Line Address dialog box.

To update delivery information through Quotation Line Address dialog box:

1. Select the sales quotation line for which you want to indicate delivery information.
2. Right-click and then click Quotation Line Address.
3. Select the Delivery Information tab in the Quotation Line Address dialog box.
4. Note that if Default Info check box in the upper part of the dialog box was selected before, it clears by changing delivery information.
5. You can change the Forwarder, Ship-via, Delivery Terms, External Transport Calendar, Del Terms Location, External Transport Lead Time and Picking Lead Time in their respective fields. Do this either manually or by using the List (if applicable), in the lower part of the dialog box.
6. If you want to save the changes without closing the dialog box, click Apply.
7. To confirm the entered details and close the dialog box, click OK.
