Update Assortment-Node-Based Prices

Explanation

Use this activity to update prices on assortment node based sales price list lines. When prices are changed in general, then the assortment based sales price lists must be updated. The sales price lists can be updated with a percentage or amount offset.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• A sales price list header must have been entered and saved. The sales price group type connected to the sales price group entered on sales price list header must be part-based.
• An assortment ID must have been specified in the Assortment ID field in the Sales Price List window.
• User must have access to owning company of sales price list.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• All prices on the assortment node based sales price list lines corresponding to entered price lists, owning companies, sales price groups, assortment IDs and assortment node IDs, are updated with the specified offset. The modification of prices take place from specified valid from date and ahead.

Procedure

1. Open the Update Assortment Node Based Prices dialog box.
2. In the Update Prices Adding area, specify the percentage and/or the amount offset to be used. If (-10) is entered in the Percentage Offset field, then the prices will be reduced by 10%. If 10 is entered, then the prices will be increased by 10%. If you want to reduce prices with an amount, then enter the amount in the amount offset field. If (-10) is entered, then the prices are reduced by 10. If 10 is entered, then the prices are increased.
3. Enter a date in the Valid From field to indicate the starting date on which the new prices becomes valid.
4. Determine whether the update will be run online or as a batch job by selecting either Online or Run in Background job options respectively.
5. Specify the Price List, Owning Company, Sales Price Group,  Assortment ID and Assortment Node ID either by entering the short code for the or by using the List of Values. Use '%' to update more than one Price List, Owning Company, Sales Price Group,  Assortment ID and Assortment Node ID.
6. Click OK to update the sales price lists.
