Recalculate Price/Currency for Quotation Line

Explanation

Use this function to recalculate the price for a quotation line in order currency. If any changes have been made that may require the price to be recalculated, right-click the quotation line and select Recalculate Price/Currency in the menu that appears. This will initiate a recalculation of the price by running the price calculation logic again, e.g., checking the current valid price list.

However, if the Prize Freeze check box has been selected on the line, the recalculation function will not be available. Use the prize freeze function if the price has already been agreed upon with the customer, and you do not want any recalculations to result in a different price.

Prerequisites

• A sales quotation line must have been entered and saved.
• The Prize Freeze check box on the quotation line must have been cleared.

System Effects

The price in order currency for the quotation line is recalculated.

Procedure

1. Search for the desired sales quotation via the Populate or Query function.
2. On the Sales Quotation/Quotation Lines tab, select the line for which you want to recalculate the price.
3. Right-click and select Recalculate Price/Currency from the menu and click OK the dialog box.
4. Save.
