Report Quantity Consumed

Explanation

A customer's consumption from the consignment stock must be manually reported in the system. This is typically done after a consumption signal from the customer, e.g., a phone call. The consumption must be reported before the customer can be invoiced.

If the quantity onhand after the reported consumption falls below the order point, a dialog box opens and gives you the option to create a refill order.

Procedure

  1. Query for a consignment stock handled line.
  2. Enter the quantity that the customer has reported as consumed in the Qty to Consume column.
  3. Save when completed.
  4. If the quantity on hand after the reported consumption falls below the order point, a dialog box opens and gives you the option to create a refill order.
