Copy from Existing Contract

Explanation

Use this activity to create a quotation for a service contract using an existing service contract as a template.

Prerequisites

• Service contracts should exist in IFS/Service Management.
• The service quotation must be in the New or Under Preparation status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a quotation for service contract is created.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Quotation window and query for the service quotation.
2. Right-Click on the header and select Copy from Existing Contract.
3. In the dialog, enter a value for Service Contract ID using the List of Values button.
4. Optionally, select Include Objects check box. Click OK.
