Create Quotation for Work Order

Explanation

This activity is used to create a work order quotation.

Prerequisites

• The service quotation must be in the Under Preparation status.
• Basic data related to work orders should be defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a new work order is created for the quotation.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Quotation window and query for the service quotation.
2. On Work Order tab, create new record (F5). Enter Directive, Maint. Org, and Sales Part No using List of Values. Note: You can only enter maintenance organizations that belong to the same site as the work order.
3. Specify a connection type in the Connection Type field and enter an object in the Object ID field.
4. In the Work Type field, use the List of Values to enter a work type.
5. Optionally, select Estimate check box if you do not want to make the work order a fixed price. Note: Fixed price value is defined by the sales part connected here.
6. Save the information (F12).
