Create Service Quotation from Work Order

Explanation

This activity is used to either create a new service quotation for the work order.

Prerequisites

• Customer information must be defined in the Customer window in IFS/Enterprise.

As a result of this activity, the work order connects to service quotation.

Procedure

1. Open the Prepare Work Order window and query for the work order.
2. Right-click on the header and click Create Service Quotation. The Create Service Quotation dialog box is opened.
3. Enter Quotation Desc and select a value in the Customer field if the work order is not connected to customer.
4. Enter dates in Request Receipt Date, Price Effective Date and a value to Sales Part.
5. Click OK.
