Procedure

Common steps:

  1. Open the Sub Contract window or the Sub Contracts window.
  2. Query (F3) for the necessary sub contract.
  3. Right-click anywhere in the header, and then click Copy Contract. The Copy Sub Contract dialog box opens.
  4. The sub contract number and active revision is displayed automatically in the From Sub Contract area. Note: If an active revision does not exist, the Contract Rev field will not contain any value.

Use the following procedure to create a new sub contract:

  1. Select the New Contract check box.
  2. In the Contract No field (in the To Sub Contract area), enter the new sub contract number. If a value in this field is not entered upon saving, the system will automatically generate a unique sub contract number.
  3. In the Copy area, select the check boxes that denote the data you want copied to the new contract.
  4. Click OK.

Use the following procedure to copy data to an existing sub contract:

  1. In the Contract No field (in the To Sub Contract area), enter the sub contract to which data is to be copied. Click List to select a valid value.
  2. In the Contract Rev field, select the revision of the sub contract. Click List to select a valid value.
  3. In the Copy area, select the check boxes that denote the data you want copied.
  4. Click OK.
