Create Address Type

Explanation

This activity is used to create different address types to be used within sub contracts. Standard addresses, entered in IFS/Enterprise, cover addresses directly associated with customers, suppliers, persons etc. In some cases there is a need for identifying additional types of addresses on contracts, e.g., Architects, Sites or Building Contractors. Address types can be defined freely as needed.

Procedure

  1. Open the Sub Contract Basic Data window.
  2. Click the Address Type tab and create a new record (F5).
  3. In the Address Type field, enter the address type.
  4. In the Address Type Description field, enter the description of the address type.
  5. Save the information (F12).
  6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each address type to be created.
