Freeze Sub Contract Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to freeze a sub contract revision. Usually this activity is performed to prevent anyone from doing any more changes on a sub contract revision. Freezing a sub contract revision is normally done at critical stages during the lifecycle of a sub contract. This can typically be when submitting an invitation to tender, being awarded the sub contract, and when the sub contract is agreed and activated.

The sub contract revision will be frozen (if not already frozen) automatically when performing any of the following activities:

Since the activities below offer the possibility of performing the activities above, they will indirectly freeze the revision if you choose to set a baseline.

To perform modifications on a frozen revision, it is recommended that you create a new revision, rather than unfreezing the frozen revision.
