Change Combination Control

Explanation

If a user connected to the posting proposal as an authorizer is not allowed to authorize the postings because of limitations, (i.e. code parts, maximum amount, etc.) these limitations should be eliminated. This is done by changing the combination rules in the authorizer combination rule, to which the authorizer is connected.

The other alternative, to make it possible for an authorizer to authorize a posting line, is to change the authorization combination rule to which the authorizer belongs.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites.

System Effects

The authority of the authorizers will be changed, and therefore authorizers who were not allowed to authorize posting lines earlier will be allowed to do so.

Procedure

To eliminate any limitations on an authorizer by modifying the combination rules of the authorization combination rule to which the authorizer belongs.

1. Open the Authorization Combination Rules window.
2. Query for the authorization Combination Rule to which the authorizer belongs.
3. Change the information as necessary.
4. Save the information. 

To eliminate any limitations on an authorizer by changing the authorizer group of the authorizer:

1. Open the Invoice Posting Authorizers window.
2. Query for the authorizer for whom you want to change the authorization combination rule.
3. Change the authorization combination rule by using the List of Values in the Authorization Combination Rule ID field.
4. Save the information.
