Maintenance Plan

[About Serial Parts] [About Interval Based Maintenance Program] [About Instructions and Subtasks] [About VIM Access Control] [To Manage Maintenance Program]

Usage

Use this window to view and/or define maintenance plans and maintenance interval information. Maintenance plans are connected to maintenance programs. Therefore, after entering the valid combination of serial parts and maintenance groups for a maintenance program, you can enter a maintenance plan for the said maintenance program. All changes to a maintenance plan are logged as part of the change history.

A maintenance program defines the parts, revisions, and maintenance groups that are to be used for a maintenance plan. When you create a new maintenance plan, you can copy the maintenance plan from an existing maintenance group and then make the necessary changes, if required. If you create a maintenance plan directly from the Define Maintenance Program window, all serial parts, revisions, and maintenance groups for the maintenance program will be available for entering maintenance plans. If you create the maintenance plan from the Maintenance Groups tab, only the selected serial part's revision and maintenance group for the maintenance program will be available for entering a maintenance plan.

Select the Modify Active Maintenance Program right mouse button option to update the primary and secondary operational parameter values for the maintenance plan of an active maintenance program. At the same time you can modify information on any convenience tasks that are connected to the maintenance plan.

For a description of each tab in the window, follow the appropriate link: Intervals, Convenience Task, All Intervals, Next Interval Maint, Oper.Param. per Maint Group, Access, Journal.
