Use the Create Template from Sub Structure assistant to create a template structure from the selected sub structure. This assistant consists of two steps. Use the first step to specify which information should be copied to the new template structure. You have the option of copying existing structure position values to the new template structure or to generate new structure positions. However, if structure dependencies are required to be copied to the new template, you must copy the existing structure positions. (The Dependencies check box is only enabled when the Position Alternates and Template Alternates check boxes are selected.) If new structure positions are required for the new template, you need to select the Generate New Structure Positions check box. When this check box is selected the second step of this assistant is made available.
Use the second step to specify how structure positions are to be generated for the new template structure.
