Use this step of the assistant to enter general information for the selected task. This information will include the reported hours, competence and the relevant work description.
If this assistant is used to complete a task, the task distribution type must have been set to Simplified Work Order. By using this assistant, you will be completing the task without transferring it to an IFS Maintenance site. When you sign off a task, the system creates a work order in the background, and enters any reported hours and materials on the work order. The work order, still in the background, is set to Started, and the reported hours are reported on the work order and authorized. The work order status is changed to Finished, which implies a feedback to IFS/Vehicle Information Management with an update of the history, and the removal of relevant tasks.
When you want to enter general information in this step for a fault that has already been repaired, the fault action must have been set to Already Repaired, and it is required that a cause code be entered for the selected fault. To carry out a quick report on a modification, the Allow Quick Reporting check box must have been selected for the modification code you have selected.
