Usage

Use this window and tab to add or manage valid operational parameters per part. If you want to enter life limits for the operational parameter of a serial, this parameter must be registered and maintained in this window or tab. Note that operational parameters that are not life-limited do not have to be registered in this window/tab.

The primary operational parameter of operations connected to a serial part can be updated according to specific rules:

• If maintenance groups are not defined for the serial part, the primary operational parameter of operations can be changed.
• If maintenance groups are defined for the serial part, the system will first check whether there exists serials with operational data from the operational measurements for these maintenance groups. If such serials exist, it will not be possible to change the operational parameters.
• If the maintenance groups have no serials or if the serial parts are in the Created status, you can change the primary operational parameter.

When a new operational parameter is added to this window or tab, any maintenance groups defined for the selected part will be updated with the new operational parameter.
