Usage

Use this window or tab to view serials affected by performed modifications. When a terminating action or a decomply is performed on a serial, all the serials listed as affected parts (and with signoff required in the Signoff field) in the Modification Details/Affected Parts tab gets a record in this window.

Note: This window is used as an overview window when it is launched from the navigator, and it is also used as a tab in the Serial Modification History window (where it displays the affected parts for the assigned serial and modification). The columns displayed in this window vary depending on where you access the window.

The Origin field displays how the history record was created. If the value of the Origin field is Ordinary Logging, there will always be a corresponding record for the assigned part in the Serial Modification History window with the same task number. If the value of the Origin field is Component Life, there can be a corresponding record for the assigned part in the Serial Modification History window with the same task number. But not necessarily; it depends on whether the information about the assigned part was provided when originally entering the affected part in the Component Life/Modification Compliance/Affected window.
