Use this tab to create and view the cross-reference between fault codes in IFS/Vehicle Information Management (IFS/VIM) and the discrepancy codes in IFS Manufacturing.
One fault code can point to many discrepancy codes. However, one discrepancy code can point to only one fault code. When the discrepancy and fault codes are connected, a discrepancy reported on a shop order will also generate a fault history record for the corresponding fault in the current serial.
