Activate Broadcast

Explanation

This activity is used to activate a scheduling broadcast for the selected company.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the scheduling broadcast must have been defined.

System Effects

• The Active check box is selected for the broadcast.
• The scheduling activities which are transferred to the Scheduling Engine for scheduling will be broadcast back to IFS Applications as scheduled plans.

Procedure

1. Open the Scheduling Broadcast window.
2. Verify that the correct company is in use. If not, right-click and click Change Company to change the company.
3. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the necessary broadcast.
4. Select the Active check box.
5. Save the information (F12).
