Activate Dataset

Explanation

This activity is used to activate a scheduling dataset.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the dataset must have been created.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the dataset is activated and data is transferred to the Mobile Workforce Management to be scheduled. Following data will be transferred from the selected company or site:

• Maintenance employees (referred to as resources in Mobile Workforce Management)
• Schedules and work shifts for the employees
• Work orders and route data
• Scheduling basic data, e.g., resource, resource type, SLA (service level agreement) and scheduling type

Procedure

1. Open the Scheduling Dataset window.
2. Verify that the correct company is in use. If not, right-click and click Change Company to change the company.
3. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the required dataset.
4. Select the Active check box.
5. Save your changes (F12).

Note: To deactivate a dataset, you need to clear the Active check box.
