Change Status to Started

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status of a work order to Started.

Note: If the Operations Follow Work Order Status check box is not selected, the status of the work order is automatically changed to Started when the status of the first operation on the work order is set to Started.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to change the status using the Prepare Work Order window:

  1. Open the Prepare Work Order window.
  2. Query for the work order. (F3)
  3. Right-click, point to Work Order Status and then click Started.

Use the following procedure to change the status using the Single Page Report In Work Order window:

  1. Open the Single Page Report In Work Order page.
  2. Query for the work order (F3).
  3. Click Started on the top part of the window.

Note: For a separate work order you can also change the status for the work order in the Active Work Orders, Prepare Work Order, Report In Work Order and in the Work Order Execution Logic windows. For a route work order you can change the status in the Active Routes and Report In Route windows.
